Ohio is scheduled to execute W.T. Montgomery early next month, even though there are serious questions about whether he committed the crimes for which he received a death sentence.
Tell Ohio Governor Kasich to stop the execution. There is #TooMuchDoubt.
Montgomery has maintained his innocence for the more than three decades since his conviction. In 2007 – more than twenty years after he was sent to death row – Montgomery was granted a new trial after a court ruled that prosecutors in his original trial withheld key evidence that could have proven his innocence. That new trial never happened.
