We don't have a Super PAC

Emma Weisfeld-Adams

There’s one thing on which we can all agree - President Obama and Governor Romney are both getting a lot of attention these days.

It’s hard to compete with ad campaigns and network debates when you’re the grassroots. We don’t have super-PACs or $1,000-a-head fundraisers.

That’s why we need thousands of grassroots donors to give what they can, so we can keep winning on the issues you care about - no matter who ends up in the White House.

Winning is exactly what we did this year in Connecticut.

Conservatives, liberals, members of law enforcement, murder victims’ families, and thousands of people just like you came together to say that the death penalty doesn’t work for anyone. And Connecticut became the fifth state in five years to end its death penalty.

With your help, we can make it happen again.

California’s death penalty is on the ballot this November. Maryland and Montana are poised to end the death penalty in 2013. Kansas, Colorado, New Hampshire, and other states are teed up to come next.

The death penalty serves no one. If we work together, we can get it out of the way and make space for policies that keep us all safer.

Chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can afford, to help build a criminal justice system that works. For everyone.
