Florida’s Governor is about to receive the so-called “Timely Justice Act” that – if signed – would virtually ensure the execution of an innocent person.

This morning a few Nebraskan lawmakers prevented a vote on the death penalty through filibuster – despite there being an apparent majority who would have voted for repeal.

Nebraska Senators will debate and vote on legislation to repeal the death penalty this Monday.
