NYC: Join EJUSA for happy hour!

EJUSA’s Associate Board is hosting a Happy Hour next week at Housing Works Bookstore in Soho – and you’re invited!

Please join EJUSA and co-hosts the Columbia Black Law Students Association for drinks and conversation. You’ll meet other like-minded New Yorkers and hear National Organizer Lex Steppling share an update on our work reimagining the justice system, including ending the death penalty, strengthening programs that help crime survivors address trauma and rebuild their lives, and promoting trauma-informed responses to violence that can save lives and help heal communities.

Christopher manages direct mail and email campaigns, assists in researching and writing grant proposals, and maintains donor tracking and data. Christopher joined EJUSA in 2016 after spending several years working in the nonprofit sector at organizations serving LGBTQ youth, incarcerated youth, and literary communities. He has experience in the areas of programming, communications, and development. Christopher received his B.A. in Communication Studies, with a minor in English, from California State University, Long Beach in 2013. He received his M.F.A. in Creative Writing from New York University in 2015. When not at work, he enjoys traveling and speaking at universities across the country about issues related to prisons, gender, sexuality, race, and literature.
