We knew Colleen was EJUSA material when she started working as the first Statewide Coordinator for Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (MADP). Her first week on the job a major report broke and 22-year-old Colleen handled the news media with the pizzazz of a 20-year veteran. It wasn’t her first time as a go-getter. In college, she wanted to make more of an impact fighting the death penalty and thought it would be a good idea to join her school's chapter of Amnesty International, only her school didn't have one. So she started one! During Colleen’s two years at MADP, she took the organization from an all-volunteer staff to a staff of three. Colleen is a graduate of Millikin University, where she studied philosophy and political science.
